About Alisa Courtney, MA, LCPC

I have been in private practice for over twenty years — as well as having worked at The Center for Holistic Medicine — and I genuinely love what I do. As someone who has been happily married for more than thirty years, raised three children, and today enjoy my two grandchildren, I bring a vast amount of life experience to my therapeutic work.

I have the benefit of working collaboratively with professionals from a variety of disciplines and have learned to incorporate several effective therapeutic skills in my practice. It is my priority to help my clients feel safe and supported, to create a comfortable environment which enables them to explore their emotions and experiences honestly at their own pace with respect and guidance.

As a certified hypnotherapist I can help my clients experience a greater sense of competence as they develop concrete skills, deeper understanding of their symptoms and experiences, and develop an increased sense of inner peace and confidence.

Insurance and Billing Instructions

I am a BCBS PPO and Aetna provider and take care of all billing. The client only has to pay the co-pay at time of service. If out of network I am also able to bill and then the client is reimbursed after paying me upfront.
