I have been an artist all my life and have found deep satisfaction with the creative process. It is my experience that a similar process also happens in therapy. Each person walks in as a unique work of art and yet has space and form waiting to be developed. There can be moments of intensity and personal discovery, slow periods of frustration, and finally the ability to put many pieces together with clarity and flow. The process is not linear but rather a combination of starts and stops, yet hopefully with the trust born of time together the picture will become more defined, clear, revealed on the canvas
